The Absolute Best Ways to Celebrate New Year's Eve in Dallas

Start the year off with a bang.

Bidding farewell to one year while welcoming in the next gives us all the chance to reinvent ourselves in ways big and small. Or at the very least, the opportunity to drink free champagne and kiss people at midnight. Depending on the vibe you desire this December 31, ringing in 2024 can be a laidback celebration over an early dinner with friends or a party horn-tootin’ party on a crowded dance floor with the glimmering lights of a disco ball filling the room. Once again this year, DART and Coors Light have partnered to offer free transportation on NYE so there’s no need to worry about DUIs, rideshare surge pricing, or finding parking. We’ve gathered several options for your enjoyment, so practice counting backward from 10 and make an early resolution to finally learn the lyrics of “Auld Lang Syne.”

Dallas New Year’s Eve Fireworks

Reunion Tower’s Over the Top NYE 2024 fireworks and drone light show can be enjoyed in several ways this year, including from the top of the ball itself while enjoying dinner at Crown Block. Catch it live on NBC 5 and over the internet on YouTube or Facebook Live, or wherever you have a view of downtown while listening to the fireworks music soundtrack on 98.7. You can also book a room at the adjoining Hyatt Regency and catch the light show in person right from your window. Experience the pyrotechnics show from indoor/outdoor watch parties at Echo Lounge & Music Hall, Texas Ale Project, and Sky Blu Rooftop Bar.
